Solid Rock Baptist was started as a mission work out of First Baptist Meadowview in Mesquite, Texas, Pastor R. D. Wade,
planted in 2009, organized in 2013, and seeking growth. Come grow with us.
Here at Solid Rock, we all wear different clothes, work different jobs, reside in different houses, drive different cars, but we live the same faith. At Solid Rock we believe in the autonomy of the local Church, that Jesus Christ the Son of the Living God is the head of the Local New Testament Church. We believe the King James Bible is the authority for rule and practice. Our purpose is to plant seeds of faith through our ministries, and encourage each other as our faith grows, and ultimately we reach out to the community, and around the world, sharing the good news of Jesus Christ.
We may be small but we are a part of a family much larger and we welcome you to join our faith family at Solid Rock Baptist Church in Rusk, Texas.
